As a former Division 2 athlete, I have learned the hard way that performance without recovery doesn’t last. Now, I am 26 years old with two knee surgeries in the books. We aren’t just trying to stay alive, but also thrive. My approach now is a blend of intensity with intention. Fitness should focus on strength, mobility, and longevity in equal measure.
